Poomsae is a combination of kicks, punches, and blocks performed in coordinated movement against an imaginary opponent — precision under pressure.
At Bozdag Taekwondo, our Elite Poomsae Program is designed for students who have reached a certain level of skill, experience, and commitment and are ready to take their Taekwondo to the next level.
Students develop high-level Poomsae skills with a strong focus on technique, precision, balance, flexibility, power, speed, and performance. The program is ideal for students who are willing to compete at national and international level.
We offer extra intensive Poomsae classes where selected students can focus specifically on Poomsae and competition preparation. These sessions provide additional training beyond regular classes, allowing athletes to refine their techniques through detailed correction, repetition, performance training, and competition-focused preparation.
Elite Poomsae is aimed at serious athletes seeking specialisation, with under-14 and 14-and-over streams for students at blue stripe (5th Kup) and above. Instructors monitor progress closely and invite qualified students onto the elite team that represents Bozdag Taekwondo in competition.
Blue stripe (5th Kup) or above? Ask about squad training — instructors invite qualified students, with under-14 and 14+ streams competing for the club at UK events.
