Poomse: power, speed, accuracy must apply 

Kicking: Examiner choice 20 minutes include jumpingbovExaminer choice 20 minutes include jumping belt or head level speed,

One Step: Must be realistic and effective and good body control must apply

Free self-defenceShow effective techniques

One to one: Must be fast and accuracy apply on the spot

Free sparring: Various attacks and counter skills with current taekwondo rules

Distraction: Show accuracy and power with one strike (it’s age-related can choose some other techniques  under 14 pink board 15 over the blackboard

Physical test: It will apply one week before grading date

Personal development: Help your teacher, teaching class develop teaching skills, take part in some poomse or sparring championship

 

 

DAN GRADING FOR 1ST KUP TO 1ST DAN

 

 

Poomse: Poomse 1 to 8 and Koryo - Maximum 2 go

Kicking: Examiner choice 20 minutes include jumping

One Step: 20 techniques in row same on both side

Free self-defence: Realistic and effective and good body control 20 minutes

One to one: 6 x 20 second

Free sparring: 3 x 2 minutes with 30 seconds rest

Distraction: Front kick, Chopping kick, Reverse punch

Physical test: 30 press up, 30 cross leg sit up, 2 minutes plank, 50 squat

Personal development: 15 hours assistance teaching, take part poomse or sparring championship

 

DAN GRADING FOR 1ST DAN TO 2ND DAN

 

 

Poomse: Poomse 1 to 8 and Koryo, Keum Gang - Maximum 2 go

Kicking: Examiner choice 20 minutes include jumping

One Step: 25 techniques in row same on both side

Free self-defence: Realistic and effective and good body control 20 minutes

One to one: 6 x 20 second

Free sparring: 3 x 2 minutes with 30 seconds rest

Distraction: Sidekick, Back kick, Back fist

Personal development: 20 hours assistance teaching, take part poomse or sparring championship

 

DAN GRADING FOR 2ND DAN TO 3RD DAN

 

 

Poomse: Poomse 1 to 8 and Koryo, Keum Gang, TaeBaek - Maximum 2 go

Kicking: Examiner choice 20 minutes include jumping

One Step: 30 techniques in row same on both side

Free self-defence: Realistic and effective and good body control 20 minutes

One to one: 6 x 20 second

Free sparring: 3 x 2 minutes with 30 seconds rest

Distraction: Reverse kick, Spinning kick, Knife hand

Personal development: 25 hours assistance teaching, take part poomse or sparring championship
